Please read this Video Analytics Notice & Release (the “Notice & Release”) carefully, and, if you agree to its terms, indicate your consent by clicking “Yes” below.

By submitting Videos to us and indicating your consent to this Notice & Release, you represent to us that:
Notice of Collection, Storage, and Use of Biometric Information
Alarm.com may collect and store information about face geometry and related biometric information derived from the Videos you submit to us for the purpose of improving our artificial intelligence technology used for facial recognition.
We may collect, store, and use this information from the time of your submission of each Video to us, and for the duration of the term of our research and development relating to our facial recognition technology, and, thereafter, we may use the Video for other internal testing or research and development purposes.
Your consent to this Notice & Release below signifies your written release to us to collect, store and use the biometric information we may derive from the Videos, as described above.
Grant of License
By consenting to this Notice & Release below, you hereby grant Alarm.com a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, revocable, non-transferrable and non-sublicensable (other than to Alarm.com’s successors and assigns) right to view, access, modify, copy and otherwise use such Videos for the purposes of performing analytics tests, running algorithms, testing motion detection and other related settings and parameters, and similar actions in accordance with this Notice & Release and the Alarm.com Privacy Policy.
Release of Claims
By consenting to this Notice & Release below, you hereby release Alarm.com, its affiliates and their respective directors, officers, employees, contractors, and agents (collectively, “Released Parties”) from any and all claims, demands, and actions of every kind and nature, including injunctive or other equitable relief, with respect to any rights of privacy, publicity, defamation, or any other rights, whether or not now known or suspected, which you may have against the Released Parties arising out of a Released Party’s use of the Videos, or any other claim relating to this Notice & Release.
Governing Law; Enforceability
This Notice & Release shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA, without regard to the conflict of law principles thereof. If any part of this Notice & Release is found to be illegal or unenforceable, then the remainder of the Notice & Release shall remain in full force and effect, and the illegal or unenforceable provision shall be modified to preserve its intent to the fullest extent permitted by law.
I agree to submit my Video to Alarm.com in accordance with the Notice & Release.
